We get together every Tuesday to sing, play, create, eat and dream. Here is a video we took during our Petite Music Box day this week at Emma and Jesse's house. We had a wonderful Autumn day. x
Here is another song for the season. Its my baby girls first Autumn! Granted, pretty much everything over this year is a first but I think it's good to get excited about the ordinary every day things that are run of the mill for us, but new and extraordinary for our children. I can't wait to head into the gardens with my little girl and toss some leaves around. I imagine waltzing around under the red, orange, yellow and gold (...and brown) trees to celebrate and enjoy the turning of the season so I wrote this song to sing as we dance. I hope you all get a chance to stop and dance around with your children this Autumn. x Michal
I love Autumn! This is a song inspired by the season that I love.
It is in French but here is the translation into English.
I am looking at you by the window automne, yellow orange and red are your colours, I can hear you from the window, the rain is playing the rythmique and the wind the melody.
Quince jam, apple pie, pumpkin soup, I can smell hazelnut. Walking on the forest, fighting with leaves,a chestnut harvest, It is autumn.
Autumn, I love your apple smell you are everything but monotone
You are taking with you the summer left over to welcome the winter frost.
